I left harmony on Belle Isle, because it was the only natural place I could walk to. Because a young brown male held a gun on me at point blank for my coat. I starred off into the distance, and saw a pattern, almost a faint memory of an acid trip. I turned and walked home. When I got back to my apartment, I found my phone and called my "father".pops.dad
I do not know if he pulled the trigger, I do not know what his 2 buddies were doing. I do know that despite the fact that every fiber of my being screamed to take the gun from him, I could not; I would not get violent, no matter how hard I tried. I walked off the Isle that day, wondering how many hours I would stay alive before I "decided" to fade away. I walked off that sunset, past the people walking on, through the people walking off- and I had nary a notion within my head. I should have immediately called the police, I should have immediately warned those people- but it was as if I knew that I stopped and did anything then it would prove that the brown male about 12 had pulled the trifling trigger. I don't even think they wanted my mp3 player- I did stop and look at the kid, I know he was well fed, I believed them to be male. I do not remember the song that was playing, but I do remember that I thought to myself as they walked upon "Right on time."
The year following I laid Harmony Jinx-Dischord Minying to rest on that Isle, I could not dig for the ground was froze. So I just took the box and threw into the woods, and placed her at the base of a tree at the top of the isle.
She died because I was too busy to deal. Too into drugs to afford a veterinarian- Although several times I did pay for one. I took her to mason's that last night, hoping for some magic- knowing that she would be more comfortable in the last place that I knew that faith was, then she would be in my dirty clothes. Sarah and another girl picked the fleas off, and harpo barked, I went to a party knowing that no matter what she would die that night.
It is my belief, my faith- that she lives on in a part of reality where eating is not required for life.
