The difference between doing and choosing to do something.
Doing merely involves an action, an action can be performed without choice involvement. Particularly when it comes to involuntary actions, are heart beat and digestion, and sometimes breathing.
Choosing to do something equates that not only was thought (mental cognition) behind the action but also an awareness that knew and understood the action, i.e. choice involves contemplation of more than the action but also contemplation of other actions that could be taken instead. Often the choice, when a person is mature, is made with comprehension and contemplation of the result; however, that is not always the case- such a case involves wisdom and maturity.
Choosing and Doing are two different ways to achieve an action, yes when a choice is made then doing occurs- however, when doing occurs there is no intent behind the action.
(correct in this particular the intent to kill was dropped, however, that does not mean that he did not choose to pick up the weapon. it merely defines that the choice does not always define the consequence or result of doing. There are many unknowns, and consequence is always one of them; however consequence does not entail the lack of understanding which is the subject of probability and possibility.)

However, with null reference variables, the equation is often dependent on choice of the individual- specifically the expression of thought vs. perception and which mental pattern is which.
the section on unknowns is one of the reasons mentats become flawed- trial and error with particulars is why a mentat would need to study the complete situation before being able to properly due the equations necessary for predictive decisioning.
The difference between reasoning and decisioning is a choice-action: the difference relies upon whether one accepts the philosophy that it is all "pretend/make-believe\imagining" as true or whether reality is a concrete truthful nature. when reasoning is used it is usually to train a P_resident (i.e. a resident with power, or a resident that has been damaged and used for scenario rulership and situational adjustment) with decisioning it is often to train counselors, law enforcement, politicians or psycho-analysts.
Despite the complete denial of information the student has been able to put the connections together.
I am afraid that the exact mathematical spectrum may have been taught to me sexually. Hence the reason i use the passive voice- as passive actions can only exist in a concrete world as actions that have no will-power behind them, such as oceanic currents or wind patterns or earthquakes. Although believing that statement defines that you deny the idea of the celestial pantheon resulting in the loss of access to much of reality.
When i originally wrote these papers, i wrote them from an atheistic (denial of deity) perspective as to blend in and not offend classmates and [professors teachers educators].
